Man arrested for dealing in drugs in Alberton North

Drugs found in mattress.

ALBERTON SAPS members and the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit launched an operation on June 20 in Alberton North.

On arrival at the address, members found the man who is the main person dealing in drugs from his caravan on the premises.

Members identified themselves and permission was granted by the suspect for the law enforcers to do a search. During the search, members found 10 packets of heroin and seven packets of dagga hidden in a black plastic bag under a rolled up mattress outside the caravan.

The suspect was arrested and is being detained at Alberton SAPS.
