Alberton Lions Club donates 87 school shoes to learners of Rosettenville Primary

With the assistance of Soul2Soul and the Girlfriends group, the Alberton Lions Club donated 87 new pairs of school shoes to learners of Rosettenville Primary School

WITH the assistance of Soul2Soul and the Girlfriends group, the Alberton Lions Club donated 87 new pairs of school shoes to learners of Rosettenville Primary School. Once the need was identified the Lions liaised with Glynis Leslie, a member of the HELP Forum in Alberton, who arranged the donation from Soul2Soul and the Girlfriends group.

“Thanks to all the parties involved 87 learners were given new school shoes, a blessing in this cold weather. A huge thank you to all the individuals who assisted in making this project a great success, we hope to continue making a difference,” said Tammy du Plooy from the Lions Club.
