Murder accused Enzo Pietropaolo tries to commit suicide

The case has been transferred to the High Court.

THE case against murder accused Enzo Pietropaolo (61) has been transferred to the Johannesburg High Court for pre-trial (a preliminary hearing before the trial) on June 22.

Pietropaolo did not appear in court on June 1 due to some administrative issues where correctional services were under the impression that he had to appear in court on June 4.

He also did not appear on June 4 due to the fact that he tried to commit suicide and is currently in ICU. According to the investigating officers, he overdosed on pills and is currently in a coma.

Pietropaolo was admitted to the Tambo Memorial Hospital in Boksburg late in the afternoon of June 1.

Pietropaolo stands accused of the murder of his wife Mannie who was shot nine times in 2017 in Brackendowns.

The state’s case has been finalised and they are ready for the next court case.

PREVIOUSLY IN COURT: Enzo Pietropaolo in the Palmridge Court on May 11.

Pietropaolo will stay in hospital until he is fit to go back to prison.

The family of the deceased also attended court on June 1.
