ASHLEY JACOBS: “No I feel that the local security companies react faster to crime scenes than the police. They are also always up to date with the crime in the area.”

THE RECORD took the streets of Alberton to ask people if they feel that we have a sufficient and reliable police force handling all the crime in the area.

NOMBEKO NCOKZAI: “I don’t think that we can say that the police are always sufficient and reliable because security companies react immediately.”
RONNIE CLARK: “No the police have no urgency where security companies have. CPS Security is reliable.”
CARMEN FERREIRA: “No the police takes way too long to react to an emergency. I feel the security companies are more on track with the crime.”
THEMBISILE THEOHA: “The security company is always first on scene and the police always take their time or come too late, so my answer is no.”
