Bracken Flower CLub held a mini show on May 19

BRACKEN Flower Club hosted a mini show on May 19 at the NG Church Brackendowns. At the show, they exhibited the winning flower arrangements as well as entries into the crafts section which saw competitors bake cakes that had to have a natural element included in them.

PINK AND PURPLE: Corrie Raubenheimer’s arrangement won her the Best use of Colour award.
CROSSED: Lilies supporting the crossed hands in a symbol of prayer.
BASKET OF ROSES:A bouquet of roses is the centerpiece of this arrangement.
BEST IN SHOW: Sandra Labuschagne received the Best in Show award for her arrangement.
BIRD OF PARADISE:Strelitzias standing tall.
WHITE BURSTS: Arum Lilies creating a contrast to the dark leaves.
UP-AND-COMING: Dagny Hooker won the beginner/intermediate section.
PINK: An arrangement playing on the different shades of pink.
