Ronnie Abrahams is releasing his first book on May 5

Learn through Ronnie’s experiences

RONNIE Abrahams, who grew up in and resides in Eden Park since the age of 12 years, is releasing his debut book titled Breaking the Silence: Removing all Masks.

Breaking the Silence is a book intended to give people the opportunity to learn from the life decisions made by the author. To this extend Ronnie has broken the silence on personal and intimate events that happened to him, opening the door on information that is uncomfortable but necessary to his story.

“I am prepared to accept what people think about me afterward,” said Ronnie. “My hope is that people can draw from my experiences and use it to grow.” Ronnie is married to Natalie Danster-Abrahams for 18 years and together they share three children, one daughter-in-law and a grandson.

Growing up is not easy

The book deals with all the aspects of a man’s life, as experienced by Ronnie in his own life. Everything is covered, from the process of growing up and being a young boy, young adult, to the joys and hardships that come with marriage and fatherhood. It is in these last two parts of his life that Ronnie puts the most emphasis on.

“Marriage is where I grew up. When my wife and I got married we didn’t know what marriage was but together we grew. It wasn’t always easy,” he said. “I want to thank my wife for pushing me through everything and being the driving force behind me putting my thoughts down on paper. Without her, this book would never be possible.”

Breaking the Silence is a source of knowledge for those seeking to grow in their family environment. The experiences Ronnie has gone through serves as the bases for a guide on personal growth that anyone can appreciate. This is all done with support from a scriptural and spiritual base that adds to the integrity of his message.

DEBUT: Ronnie Abrahams from Eden Park has just finished his first book which he describes as a book which will inspire men.

The official book launch is at 10am on May 5 at Christian Covenant Centre, 23 Wolseley Street, Eden Park.
