A LOCAL woman from Eden Park was arrested following a tip-off from members of the Eden Park community on April 4 at about 9am.
When her house was raided by the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit, narcotics to the value of R980 were found in the house.
On searching the house in Suzuki Street, metro police came across six full moons, six half moons and nine quarter moons of Mandrax as well as one packet of Cat with the total street value of just under R1 000.
The 20-year-old suspect was detained at Eden Park SAPS on charges of possession and dealing in illicit substances. She was expected to appear in the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
