Prominent Ncube wants to uplift children
He wishes to be remembered as a man who was ever-smiling and always spread cheer and love.
ACTIVITY co-ordinator and co-founder of the i4118 Foundation, Prominent Ncube, has a passion to uplift children and see them succeed.
Prominent (25) actually came from very bad circumstances himself, before Gavin Meyers came to his rescue and nurtured him to be a healthy, confident young man. Today, Prominent is a passionate teacher who devotes himself to uplift children and teens.
He told the RECORD that he is a people’s person and seeing others succeed in life is what keeps him driven to be the best person he can be.
He has a special place in his heart for this foundation. “It’s a special initiative above all others because it is centered on Christ. Also, I relate to the children – I had to be nurtured myself once, so I completely understand the sadness they go through.”
All children are special to Prominent. He said that as a teacher, he sees so many children who are hurting every day. He just loves them to bits and does whatever he can to help them or brighten up their days at school.
One day, Prominent wishes to be remembered as a man who was ever-smiling and always spread cheer and love wherever he went throughout his life.
“I’ve gotten a broader perspective of life since starting at i4118,” he said. “It opened my mind a lot. I’ve learned how to deal with people and my communication skills have improved a lot. I’ve definitely grown a lot as a person since being a part of this foundation.”
