Gardener apprehends suspected robber

Gardener apprehends suspected robber when he tried to break into a nearby house.

A suspect was arrested after a gardener, who witnessed him trying to break in, managed to catch him as he fled.

In the early morning of March 13, security officers responded to a panic signal in Edelweiss Street. Upon arrival, the caller informed the company that there was a suspect on the property carrying a television.

The suspect was apprehended moments later by a gardener who was working at a house on nearby Iris Street. The gardener chased the suspect and wrestled him to the ground. He was assisted by security officers who saw the two men wrestling and an arrest was made. The gardener was commended for his quick actions and is truly an everyday hero.
