Pensioner dies in the clinic

Pensioner dies in Eden Park Clinic.

It is very seldom that one hears of a sick person who died in a clinic or a doctor’s surgery, emergency cases are always rushed to the nearest hospital. But on 5 March a pensioner died in the Eden Park Clinic while sitting in the queue waiting for treatment.

The sick gogo from Eden Park West was brought to the clinic for treatment. While waiting in the queue, one lady realised that the gogo did not look well and that her skin colour was somehow changing.

The lady called one of the supervisors to check but the supervisor said she was fine and maybe just sleeping.

The lady then called a nurse to look at the pensioner and on realising what the reality was instructed everybody to go out. But by that time, the old lady had already died. An undertaker was summoned and the body was taken away.

The clinic manager was not available for comment.
