Alberton SAPS arrest 22 suspects

The criminals will soon appear in court.

THE Alberton police members, with the help of other stakeholders, has recently managed to bring alleged criminals to book.

Twenty-two suspects have been arrested for their activities ranging from a warrant of arrest for rape, dealing in drugs, possession of drugs, common assault, drinking and driving, warrant of arrest for theft case, suspect of an alleged theft, shoplifting and burglary.

“I would also like to advise our community to go to court at the time of court to avoid embarrassing yourself. Once you are summoned to appear in court go, else it will take a longer period of time and a warrant of arrest will be dished out,” said Captain Manare Ramotshela

“All of our suspects will appear in court soon. Gauteng will never be the same again as we as police will always be there. There is no room for the criminals in Alberton,” said Ramotshela.
