Sergeant Lindile Moloi thanks her community

"Thank you so much for all the love and support.”

AFTER receiving a commendation for outstanding service from the Minister of Police, Sergeant Lindile Moloi would like to express her sincerest thanks and appreciation to the community – her community – of Brackendowns.

Brackendowns Police Station’s Lindi, as everyone calls her, received a beautiful certificate on January 29 at a provincial police office. She said: “I am very proud of this award. I know there are lots of people, especially newcomers, that look up to me.”

She wants to thank everyone who supports her. “Colonel van Vuuren, my boss, always believes in me,” she said. “I also want to thank my family, husband and two children for always supporting what I do.”

Moloi is asking the community to please work and communicate more with Brackendowns Police so that they can fight more crime. Most of all, though, Lindi wants to thank the community for letting her serve it for the past 14 years.

She said: “I love my community and I promise to always give it my everything. I am always open to helping anyone because together, we can. Thank you so much for all the love and support.”
