No go on M1 North

Traffic was backed up all the way from Southgate going North.

AFTER an accident on the M1 North earlier this morning, January 23, involving a bus, traffic has been at an absolute standstill from before Smit Street, for over two hours.

According to a driver who has been stuck stationary, the traffic is now beginning to move and two lanes are now open.

Traffic was backed up all the way from Southgate going North.

Drivers are advised to use another route to get to the North as delays are still expected.
