Zanelle (9) brings smiles to the elderly
Zanelle and some family members went to Silwerkroon to deliver the packs.
A YOUNG lady from Alberton recently brought wide smiles to the elderly at Silwerkroon who have had a trying year.
Zanelle Huizers (9) decided to treat residents at Silwerkroon Old Age Home with some gift packs filled with goodies and some essentials.
“People don’t think of the elderly, so I decided I wanted to do something for them and show them some caring and appreciation,” said the adorable girl.
On Friday, December 15, Zanelle and some family members went to Silwerkroon to deliver the packs.
Zanelle, who has been modelling at Figures Finesse Alberton for the past five years and is part of their Archangel Raphael’s Helper Group, said she doesn’t want people to forget about the elderly, and wants people to get more involved in these kinds of activities to brighten a few lives.
