Caitlin tops the honours’ list

Caitlin Swartz (11) obtained seven diplomas and the trophy for top achiever.

THIS humble little Grade Five learner from Opelweg Primary School just keeps on achieving, raking in the diplomas and trophies year in and year out.

At the school’s recent prize-giving ceremony, Caitlin Swartz (11) obtained seven diplomas and the trophy for top achiever.

Her parents, Rivonne and Jantjie, said she is just a star and adored by her entire family.

Caitlin obtained diplomas for technology, social science, natural science, mathematics, English home language, Afrikaans first additional language and life skills, and walked away with the top achiever’s award.

The talented girl is a hard worker, her mother said, adding: “She is a true reflection of the saying that bombs came in small packages. She shines in all subjects.”

“I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to my heavenly father, my principal and Grade Five teachers,” Caitlin said.
