SPCA wants you to shake

Alberton SPCA is once again holding a big street collection.

COME and shake a bucket and convince motorist with your warmest smile to give a donation to the Alberton SCPA.

Alberton SPCA is once again holding a big street collection to raise much-needed funds for the animals in their care. The date is December 16 from 9am to 12pm.

Please note the date and support them on the day by either donating as you drive past or coming along to help as a volunteer to shake the buckets.

“We need as many volunteers on the day as possible so if you can help, please inbox either chairperson@spcaalberton.org.za or secretary@spcaalberton.org.za. Volunteers must be over 16 years of age. If you can only commit to an hour that’s fine but we plan to be out from 9am until 12pm. Please help if you can because it’s going to be a fun time,” requested Vanja Ingold from the SCPA.

“We will be at the Swartkoppies and Heidelberg Road intersections. We once again hope to raise lots of money on the day to help us continue with our mission of caring for animals. We do not receive any government funding and are totally reliant on the local community to support us.”
