Clean water wasted again

Nearby stall owners claim they heard a big burst at 1pm and suddenly water was running past the stalls.

“WATER running down from the taxi rank again!” is what everyone exclaims when they see clean water running down Abraham Street in Eden Park.

Hardly two months have passed since repair work was done because steel and copper pipes were stolen in July, and now a burst water pipe is again causing problems at the local taxi rank.

On October 3, nearby stall owners claimed they heard a load sound at 1pm and then suddenly water gushed past the stalls. The caretaker told the RECORD that the problem was immediately reported to the EMM, but he does not know when they will come.
