Alberton High School matric farewell

Leandré’s single mother explained how she had been saving and preparing for this day.

Matriculants from Alberton High School celebrated their matric farewell on September 28. Parents and foster-parents, whether single or married, had been preparing and saving for this important day in their child’s school career.

Leandré’s single mother explained how she had been saving and preparing for this day. With tears rolling down her cheeks, she expressed her happiness in seeing her little girl grown up to become a teenager and now going to her matric farewell.

Hugging her mother, with both shedding tears of joy, Leandré said: “Thanks mummy for everything you have done and are still doing for me. You have been both my mother and my friend.”
