Treasure Tots have lots of fun

NEW MARKET’s Treasure Tots Preschool have been enjoying plenty of fun recently after receiving awards at the Eisteddfod and celebrating Heritage Day with their grandparents.

Front: Lebone Ramashu, Tebogo Molawa, Rotondwa Takalani, Jordan Donnelly, Kabelo Mthunzi and Mutshidzi Tshifularo. Middle: Teboho Mkhwanazi, Emmah Nonde, Nhlosenhle Ndlovu, Isabella Fernandes, Ayama Nkosi and Aphiwe Kuboni. Back: Ntando Shabangu, Aisha Nsimbo, Leano Dibakoane, Tshegofatso Seroba, Lesedi Diale, Gabriel Subramoney, Sarah Ali and Sphesihle Chewe.

Three Grade R classes, namely the Diamond, Sapphire and Tanzanite classes, entered the art category of the Eisteddfod. Each participating child received a gold diploma. The school’s percussion band also received a gold diploma for an item they performed in August.

DIAMOND CLASS: Front: Sphesihle Chewe, Tebogo Molawa, Amahle Mazibuko, Lana Naidoo and Jordan Donnelly. Back: Kristine Wiese, Nhlosenhle Ndlovu, Isabella Fernandes, Rebabaletswe Selepe and Ntando Shabangu.

Treasure Tots also celebrated Heritage Day, September 25, with their loving grandparents. All the grannies and grandpas joined in for crumpets and a cup of tea and made a lovely photo frame with their grandchildren.

SAPPHIRE CLASS: Front: Rotondwa Takalani, Mutshidzi Tshifularo and Orifha Ramalira. Back: Teboho Mkhwanazi, Aphiwe Kuboni, Lesedi Diale, Tshegofatso Seroba and Ayama Nkosi. ABSENT: Nana Kofi Obeng-Adjei.

Young and old enjoyed loads of fund and spent some quality time together.
