Two arrested in connection with Mall of the South robbery

Mondeor SAPS received information on September 15 about two suspects who were connected to a robbery at a jewellery store at Mall of the South.

According to police spokesperson, Capt Nokulunga Dube, this occurred on July 19. Two armed suspects entered the jewellery store and robbed the store. This information was followed up and it led to the arrest of two suspects aged 30 and 31 years old in Regents Park. They were detained at the Mondeor police cells.

The CHRONICLE has reports of two robberies that took place on July 19 and July 30, both at NWJ Jewellery.

Mondeor SAPS also shares its successes from September 14 to September 20. Within that week there were six arrested for possession of dagga, four arrested for theft, four arrested for dealing in liquor without a license, three arrested for assault, three arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, three arrested for shoplifting, two arrested for fraud, two arrested for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, two arrested for business robbery, one arrested for malicious damage to property and one arrested for house robbery.
