One patient transported to hospital

This happened on September 11.

A LARGE truck crashed in Fore Street in Alberton on September 11.

The accident took place underneath the bridge leading to the Meyer Farm.

National Paramedics attended the accident scene and transported one patient with injuries to hospital.

According to sources, it is suspected that the truck driver neglected to lower the bin and that the bin then hit the bridge.

Legal forces are investigating.
