Another bridge in danger of collapsing?

Now another bridge has come to our attention, one that appears to be in serious need of repair.

IT seems another bridge may be in danger of collapsing if it is not seen to.

RECORD recently reported on the bridge (Sedonia) that collapsed on the N3 Highway and caused the road to be closed for the entire day.

Now another bridge has come to our attention – one that appears to be in serious need of repair.

The bridge in question is on the the Old Vereeniging Road close to Angus Station in Alrode South.

RECORD contacted the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality for comment, but they did not respond in time.

PATCH JOB: The bridge’s railing appears to have been patched up, so it seems authorities must have known about this issue.
