BREAKING NEWS: Head-on collision stops robber in his tracks

Two cases were opened at Brackendowns SAPS.

ONE suspect was apprehended by CPS Security after a robbery in Yellowood Street, Mayberry Park which took place earlier this afternoon.

FOUND: One of the suspect’s firearms.

The suspects got away in a hijacked black Colt bakkie and were chased by CPS Security’s reaction unit when a shootout ensued.

The driver of the bakkie lost control and collided with a truck on Old Vereeniging Road.

ACCIDENT: This is what the vehicle looked like after the collision.

It appears that two out of the three suspects in the incident did manage to evade capture.

CPS Security, Fox Security, Fourth Dimension along with Brackendowns CPF and SAPS were on scene.

Two cases were opened at Brackendowns SAPS, one for possession of an unlicensed firearm and another one for hijacking.
