BREAKING NEWS: Recycling plant in Alrode South ablaze

The fire started to blaze out of control at the factory.

A fire has broken out at a recycling plant in Alrode South, Alberton.

At approximately 1.45pm on August 7, a fire started to blaze out of control at the factory on the corners of Rivett-Carnett and Bosworth Streets.

HEATING UP: Emergency services on the scene.

The cause of the fire is as yet unknown, as well as whether or not there are any injuries or fatalities.

The Ekurhuleni Fire Department is on the scene, fighting the fire, along with the support of the FOX Medical Unit, AfriForum and the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police.
