Eden Park SAPS arrest many suspects

A man was found in the house with 32 pokes of dagga and three parcels of CAT.

A MAN in Palmridge Extention Three was arrested for being in possession of pokes of dagga and a drug commonly known as CAT.

Eden Park’s SAPS spokesperson, Capt Vusi Mhlophe said their operations focused mainly on performing random stop and searches and tracking of suspects in and around Eden Park, Greenfields and Palmridge.

“Acting on a tip-off, officers targeted a house in Palmridge Ext Three. A man was found in the house with 32 pokes of dagga and three parcels of CAT.

“The man insisted that the drugs did not belong to him. He was arrested and had appeared in the Palmridge Court,” said Mhlophe.

The captain further reported that the operation, with the hard work of the officers, did pay off because many other suspects were arrested for possession of dangerous weapons and other misdemeanours.
