MEMBERS of the Alberton SAPS, with the help of the community and other stakeholders in the fight against criminal activities, have taken 23 suspects into custody for their alleged criminal offences from July 14 to 17.
“We have five arrests for theft, six for shoplifting, five for drunk and driving, two for assault, two for possession of suspected stolen property, one for warrant of arrest and one for dealing in drugs,” said Captain Manare Ramotshela, Alberton SAPS spokesperson.
