Alberton Lions Club has Christmas in July

At the end of the day every child went home with a large gift bag and sandwiches for the family at home.

A HUGE amount of fun was had by children from 10 primary schools in Katlehong when Alberton Lions Club put on an early Christmas party for them at the Ezabaleni School for the disabled.

From stick-on tattoos (the hot favourite of the day), icing cookies, or playing soccer and putt-putt, the children had the time of their lives. Hot dogs and cupcakes made up the lunchtime meal and at the end of the day, every child went home with a large gift bag and sandwiches for the family at home.

“Thanks to all the educators who shared the day with us and saw that the children got there and back safely and also to the Alberton Lions for the hard work to make sure everything went smoothly on the day,” said Tammy du Plooy on behalf of the Lions Club.
