Sgt Mita Badi of Eden Park SAPS and some of her colleagues also gave their 67 minutes.

July 18 was International Mandela Day and throughout Africa and the world at large, people offered to do good to others.

Sgt Mita Badi of Eden Park SAPS and some of her colleagues also gave their 67 minutes.

Accompanied by local Clr Cedric Matjiba, SANCO and community members of Palmridge Extention Four, they cleaned the park and playground, Police dressed in their overalls and took to painting the equipment in the park.

“We are happy for doing the cleaning for the children’s play area. They were excited and even asked to help. Doing this in memory of an icon who only preached about unity and reconciliation, brought joy to everyone,” Badi said.
