Pool cue murder case postponed again.

DANIEL Jacobus Olivier (52), who is charged with the murder of Ludi Vink, appeared in the Palm Ridge District Court on July 13.

This follows after Ludi was stabbed in the face with a pool cue when he tried to stop a fight at Mitzy’s Bar in Randhart on February 21.

According to a family member, Vink tried to break up a fight to stop other men from attacking the bar owner.

The case was postponed to August 30 for further investigation and Olivier’s bail was extended. He stabbed Vink in the eye at Mitzy’s biker pub in Randhart and CCTV footage of the attack captured the incident.
