Learners share their plans for the holidays

"Most of all, it’s gonna be partying, partying and more partying."

THE school holidays are upon us and learners can barely contain their joy! The RECORD asked a few learners what their plans are for the next three weeks, and here is what they had to say.

VISITING GRANDPARENTS: Ethan Kleynhans is in Grade Three and said: “I’m going to visit my grandma and grandpa in Potgietersrus for the next three weeks. I am really excited and looking forward to getting spoiled by them.”
GOING TO NELSPRUIT: Cara de Necker, who is in matric at Hoërskool Dinamika, said: “This holiday I’m gonna party! I’m excited, because we’re going away to get a taste of Nelspruit before we move there for good, and we’re gonna experience the Innibos Festival. While we’re there, we will also go to the Kruger Game Reserve and see what adventures await us.”
WORK AND FUN: Tamryn Oeschger in Grade 11 at Hoërskool Dinamika said: “I’m going to be working on a life orientation project and I’ll be going to the gym to prepare for next term’s netball season. But what I’m looking forward to most is partying with my friends and just having a fun time.”
RECOVERING FROM INJURY: Keanu Annandale, who is in matric, said: “I’m gonna chill at home and recover from my rugby injury. I tore the ligaments in my ankle. I’m also going to make time to party and play some X-Box, of course. I might go to Tzaneen for a cricket tour in the second week of the holiday, but we’ll see.”
