BREAKING NEWS: Mutilated body found in open veld near Alrode

The police need information to solve two separate cases involving two unidentified bodies.

Lindi Moloi, spokesperson for the Brackendowns Police Department is asking for assistance to help identify the bodies of two deceased individuals found recently.

A male’s mutilated body, around 25 and 30 years of age, was found in an open veld next to Thina Zonke on Monday, June 26, at approximately 4.20pm.

The victim appears to have been killed for muthi as his armpits, genitals, ears and right hand had been completely severed and were missing.

The victim appears to have been murdered elsewhere and dumped in the veld, partly covered with leaves.

Accident claims life of 30-year-old

On Thursday, June 22, at around 11.20pm, a taxi was driving along when it was involved in an accident, killing one occupant.

The taxi appears to have been travelling from Alexandra to Thokoza. The deceased, a female, estimated to be around 30 was travelling in a Toyota Condit with the registration number, RMB 736 GP.
