A WOMAN died on June 16 after she was hit by a taxi on the Old Vereeniging Road, Tinsonke.
Fox Medical Unit responded to the incident. Upon their arrival their paramedic found that the woman had already succumbed to her injuries. It is believed the pedestrian was hit by a taxi when she tried to cross the road. The taxi then collided with a lamp pole next to the road. Several patients have been taken to hospital for further medical care.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by authorities.
Fox Medical Unit, Med-Help Emergency services, Ekhuruleni Fire and Rescue and EMPD were on scene.
