Sixty-seven minutes of your time welcome at SPCA

Support the Alberton SPCA.

IT’S hard to believe it’s almost Mandela Day – where has the year gone? On Tuesday, July 18 the Alberton SPCA would welcome any companies or individuals who wish to spend 67 minutes (or more) helping the SPCA. There are various tasks that need doing, including tidying up, painting and clearing out.

“We can always find work for willing hands. If you wish to take part on the day, please phone the office on 011 907 1568 and book your time slot. “Please note all volunteers must be 16 years old or above,” said Vanja Ingold, SPCA member.

“If you are unable to come in, why not donate R67, R670 or even R6,700 to us?

“Our banking details are as follows: bank: ABSA, account name: SPCA Alberton, account number: 102 447 1574.

“Every donation helps, be it big or small and it’s such a great way to honour the memory of President Nelson Mandela. He was an extraordinary man so let’s do something extraordinary in his name.

“The SPCA receives no government funding and is entirely reliant on the local community and local businesses to support us.

“Without your support we would not be able to continue with our mission of preventing cruelty to animals,” concluded Ingold.
