SUIDHEUWELS Primary School in South Hills is giving away a brand new Datsun Go in a raffle that was launched on June 9 on the school grounds.
The School Governing Body (SGB) members, staff and learners all gathered on the school grounds to listen to a presentation by Nash Nissan. Andre Van Staden from Custom Events also spoke at the presentation on the number of sponsors and amount of support they have received for this initiative thus far.
Principal Frik Visagie also advised that the aim of this initiative is to raise funds for the very needy school and at only R100 a ticket, you stand a chance to win a Datsun Go courtesy of the school.
Interested persons can buy as many tickets as they want. Learners will be encouraging their parents and the community at large to purchase tickets. Tickets can be purchased from the school until November 24 and the grand draw will take place at the school on December 1, at 12 noon.
Any sponsor in the South is welcome to donate any goods to the class that sells the most tickets. To date, the learner who sells the most tickets will receive a year’s supply of sponsored stationery.
