Sole2sole sends shoes to Knysna

DARIO Gouveia is still collecting and distributing shoes (Sole2Sole) and on Thursday evening, June 8, over 1 000 pairs of shoes were sent off to Knysna for the fire victims. “Shoes continue to come in, it’s just fantastic,” said his mom, Zita Gouveia.

URGENT PLEA TO THE COMMUNITY TO LEND A HAND:

We are calling upon our community to drop off donations for #Knysna fire relief efforts at the RECORD’s offices:

 Alberton

Donations can be dropped off until June 15 by no later than 10.00am. Donations will be transported to Knysna on June 16.

Donations can also be dropped off at The Glen Shopping Centre’s management offices.

Please visit our offices during working hours to make your donation. If you cannot deliver your donation, please drop us an email at cvdwalt@caxton.co.za with all your contact details.

Good urgently needed are:

Tinned goods and can openers, cutlery/crockery – especially paper cups/plates, blankets, bottled water, diapers, second-hand clothes, socks and shoes for all ages, sanitary pads and toiletries – toothbrushes, soap, shampoo etc., long life milk, cereal, fruit, first aid supplies, pet food, baby formula and old tents.
