Bikers bring joy to a family

“They painted the whole house inside and outside and even the roof."

IT is said and believed that the days of miracles are gone, but one miracle happened at 3 Morris Street, Eden Park, on Saturday, April 29, when bikers from Eldorado Park arrived out of the blue at the Allies residence.

It is very seldom that a group of men stops at a house and asks the family if they can paint their house – more surprisingly, when the family does not even know anyone in the group.

“The bikers just arrived here on Saturday, saying they are bikers from Eldorado Park and wanted to paint our house. We did not know them and they didn’t know us,” said Judy Allies.

“They painted the whole house inside and outside and even the roof. This was a blessing for us since the house had not been painted for years and really needed it,” she added.

Not only was the house painted, but the bikers handed over boxes of groceries for the family of eight, which depends solely on the sick father’s pension grant. Due to his condition, the RECORD could not get comment from the husband, Charles Allies (62), or the bikers, who did not leave a contact number behind.

“I am very thankful to those bikers from Eldorado Park and pray that God blesses them all. They came back again on Sunday, May 21, and delivered groceries and promised to always check on us. All praise be to God, for He made this possible. Thank You, Lord,” concluded the tearful Judy.
