ALBERTON SPCA is in need of a new computer for their manager/ senior inspector, Kingstone Siziba.
“Kingstone’s computer belongs in a museum as it’s so old and it is giving problems; if you can donate one to us that would be awesome. In this day and age modern equipment is sorely needed and we would be very grateful for any assistance,” said Vanja Ingold, SPCA member.

Please remember that there are also SMS lines where you can easily donate. SMS ‘Puppy’ to 39969 at a cost of R15 or SMS ‘Kitten’ to 38844 at a cost of R10.
Another way to donate is to get a MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet card. A percentage of all sales from the cards is donated to the SPCA each month and it’s a fantastic help. It costs the supporter nothing extra, but benefits their chosen charity tremendously. More information is available at www.myschool.co.za and you can apply online or at your nearest Woolies. Simply add Alberton SPCA as your beneficiary.
If you would like to sponsor a kennel each month, it’s R110 and at the end of each month you receive an email with photos of the dogs or cats you have helped. The funds raised go towards the food and care of the animals at the SPCA. If you are interested, please email secretary@spcaalberton.org.za for an application form or further details.
Alberton SPCA receives no government funding and is therefore entirely reliant on the local community to support their mission of caring for the animals at their branch and in their community.
