Hollywood Bets sponsors soccer kids

HOLLYWOOD Bets Alberton is supporting kids from the Alaska Football Club to make their soccer dreams come true.

This initiative started seven years ago with the vision of keeping children out of the streets and away from drug abuse and this local club is home to five teams.

They currently have approximately 87 players who get together regularly to practice at the Thelle Mogoerang Sports Field. The teams range from u.11 to u.19 and members from the Alberton branch visited the club at their home ground to deliver a full soccer kit to the u.17 team.

The founder, Mabuya Baldwin, thanked the company for the generous donation. “In the past the club lost some games because our opponents would sometimes put on the same colours as the Alaska FC players. We always had only one kit to play in so this would rob us of points. Thanks to this donation from Hollywood Bets it won’t happen again,” he said.
