Trucks obstruct business entrances

No reaction from authorities.

WORKERS employed at General Hinges and Aluminium Frames in Union Street, Alberton North have been struggling with trucks since 2011.

According to one of the workers, the trucks are parked on yellow lines and in places that obstruct business entrances.

“Towards the end of 2011 the no parking lines as well as no parking traffic signs and 40km signs were erected in Union Street. We still, however, from time to time experience problems with the trucks obstructing the road as well as entrances,” the worker said.
