TWO suspects stole lawnmowers in Raceview on March 4 at around 06:30 and tried to get away by jumping over walls.
When Fox Security’s reaction officer, Thinus Neetling, arrived he spotted the men jumping walls and immediately called for backup.
After chasing the men from St Columb Street, through Helston Street, they finally caught one suspect.
In their haste to get away, the men damaged quite a few electric fences in Helston Street.
The stolen goods were recovered.
Alberton SAPS were contacted and the suspect was arrested.
