Pets up for adoption

Make a difference by adopting.

WITH regular reports about the dogs up for adoption at the Alberton SPCA, the SPCA shed some light on why it is better for families to rather adopt a pet than buy one:

*Adoption helps stop pet overpopulation.

*Adoption saves lives.

*Adoption gives a second chance.

*Adoption often costs less.

LOOK AT ME: Bella is a four-year-old female dachshund who is longing for a new home. She’s the sweetest girl. Call Alberton SPCA on 011 907 1568 and quote reference number MM7.

Help the SPCA reduce the number of abandoned animals. Adopting from a shelter is an act of rescue and love. “It is a good deed for you, for the shelter, but especially for the animal who needs you. Add to that the pleasure of having a new companion, and you’ll be happy to be the one who was able to offer him a second chance,” said Vanja Ingold, a member at Alberton SPCA.

For more information, contact Alberton SPCA on 011 907 1568.

STILL A PUPPY: This female puppy is only nine months old. She’s a medium cross breed, super-friendly and in dire need of a home she can call her own. Call Alberton SPCA on 011 907 1568 and quote reference number K25.
