REACTION officers from Fox Security responded to an armed robbery in progress on January 25, at 09:33, in Hennops Street, Brackendowns.
When the tactical unit arrived, they found that a suspect, armed with a knife, had gained entry into the premises and tied the homeowner and the domestic worker up with shoe laces.
Reaction officers Johan Van Eden and Rodger Theunissen caught the suspect with stolen goods. Elowayne Gouws, from the Fox medical unit, was also dispatched to assist the two women who had been tied up. Both were unharmed but in shock.
The suspect was handed over to the Brackendowns SAPS.
