Make land claim submissions

Residents are encouraged to make submissions of the Bakwena land claim as there is still time.

AFRIBUSINESS says an official from the Land Claims Commission has confirmed that affected individuals and interested parties to the Johannesburg South land claim by the Bakwena ba Mare a Phogole clan, have until Thursday, February 2, to make submissions to the Commission.

This follows after AfriBusiness sent a letter to the Commission regarding the period of time allowed for submissions.

AfriBusiness urges affected individuals and interested parties who had their properties listed in the Government Gazette of Friday, November 4 2016, to make submissions before the expiry date. Submissions should contain any information that could help the Commission to determine whether a specific piece of land, should form part of the claim or not.

The public is welcome to contact AfriBusiness on diens@afrisake.co.za or 012 644 4397, or visit the corner of DF Malan Avenue and Eendracht Avenue, Kloofsig, Centurion.
