Class of 2016 did Eden Park proud

They achieved a pass rate of 83 per cent, which shows that hard work and persistence do pay.

JUST when everybody thought they would not make the 75.5 per cent pass rate of 2015, Eden Park Secondary’s class of 2016 came in with a surprise.

They achieved a pass rate of 83 per cent, which shows that hard work and persistence do pay.

The poor 42 per cent pass rate of June 2016 had everybody worried, but it was a wake-up call for the educators and learners. Compared with 2015, the class of 2016 improved the pass rate by 7.4 per cent.

Many of the learners will be starting their tertiary education at universities and colleges in this year. It is up to them to remember what the American author, Melody Beattie said: “The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals.” Congratulations to the class of 2016 at Eden Park Secondary.
