Veli Ndaba release his second book

Veli has a treasure trove full of inspirational quotes and mantras in his mental arsenal at his disposal

Alberton motivational speaker, life coach and author Veli Ndaba has just released his second book.

Your dream is calling you follows Veli’s first attempt at writing: Win – you are born to. Both are aimed at helping everyone who reads them, to reach their full potential.

“There’s no limit to human potential – it’s simply our own attitudes and common consciousness (what is generally expected of people to do) that stand in our way,” says Veli.

Veli is originally from Emdeni, Soweto; but has called Alberton home since 2001.

“I also started out life by doing what was expected: going to school, studying further, getting a job, etc. I worked as a mechanical engineer up until 2011, when I decided to follow my dream of helping others to follow their dreams – and after attending many seminars and doing some more studies in this field, I started doing it full time in 2013,” he says.

Veli told the RECORD about one of his best moments ever, when he met one of his idols: motivational speaker, Les Brown.

“I remember meeting him and him telling me: ‘people are waiting to hear your story’,” recalls Veli fondly.

Having a treasure trove full of inspirational quotes and mantras in his mental ‘arsenal’, Veli dispensed them freely during his chat with the RECORD.

“The war isn’t out there; it’s within ourselves,” says one of them – another still, from his latest book: “we receive many missed calls in our lives, because of the noise around us.”

Veli leaves a profound thought to consider: “I’ve started looking at successful people as examples, not exceptions.”
