ANC Ward 94 holds bi-annual meeting

THE ANC in Ward 94 will convene for its bi-annual general meeting, to assess the 2016 local government elections results, at 14:00 on November 27, in the Alberton Fire Station hall, in Swartkoppies Road.

The gathering will also allow members to engage on the state of the organisation, to formulate a branch position and to allow members to elect a new branch executive committee, to lead the branch for a period of two years.

Members of the executive committee will be expected to develop a programme of action, focusing on political education, service delivery, organisational development, economic development, social cohesion, youth, women and people with disabilities, focused development and the promotion of arts, culture and heritage.

Ward 94 comprises Albertsdal, Brackenhurst Extension 2, Mayberrypark, Randhart, New Market and Roodekop suburbs.
