FOX Security apprehended a prowler on Union Street around midnight on Monday, November 14.
That was after Fox guarding officer Riaan Roets was busy with his regular patrolling, when he saw the suspect lurking inside a private property
in a property on Union Street.
In spite of his attempts to flee, the suspect was no match for Roets, who quickly caught and subdued the prowler and then called for backup.
The Fox control centre immediately dispatched a reaction unit and the Alberton SAPS (Police).
The suspect was handed over to the SAPS and is being detained at the Alberton Police station. Very well done to Riaan for keeping our community safe, as well as to everyone else involved.
