A man caught dumping rubbish illegally has been fined thanks to the Brackendowns CPF.
One of Brackendowns CPF’s patrollers spotted a truck turning into the veld from Klipriver Road, just off Vaal Street next to the cemetery.
He followed it and noticed him tipping the rubbish into the veld. This happened on the morning of November 10. The patroller blocked him in while calling for the EMPD.
The EMPD officers arrived about 30 minutes later and issued the driver with a fine. According to the EMPD they’re likely to impound the tipper truck.
