Brackenhurst Primary produces yet another talented Drakie

Another schoolboy from Brackenhurst Primary has achieved his concert status at the Drakensberg Boys Choir.

ANOTHER schoolboy from Brackenhurst Primary has achieved his concert status at the Drakensberg Boys Choir School.

Ntakaso Mbuli (or TK) and has been at ‘Drakies’ since January – an achievement in and of itself, as all new boys have to pass 25 gruelling tests before they can wear the blue and white.

“As a school, we are exceptionally proud of his perseverance and tenacity,” said Irene Morrick, music co-ordinator for the school. “Three more of our boys will be joining the ‘Drakies’ in January 2017 -thanks to the superlative music programme at Brackenhurst Primary, which boasts a music centre, three choirs, two song groups, a drumming group and a marimba band,” added Morrick.
