Water pressure is reduced
If Rand Water reduces supply, it may lead to some areas having no water
WATER pressure across the board has been reduced.
Alderman Bruna Haipel told the RECORD this morning that ,in Alberton, all pressure reducing valves have been set to provide one bar of pressure at the highest point during the day, and then very low pressure between 22:00 and 05:00.
“There are 27 supply zones covered by Alberton reservoir for Alberton Thokoza and Eden Park. All other areas should have done the same but if Rand Water reduces supply or cuts supply to a feed to any.area in EMM then there could be areas with no water,” she said.
